Website stats are vague and obscure until you get to understand them a bit better, so someone who understands them a bit better has told this SEO Dummy. There are a number of stats I am going to look at on this website SEO for Dummies blog. We are going to explore keywords, total unique visitors, and top search phrases.
The keywords that google comes up with to best describe the content of your website is an interesting one. Itcanreally make someone a little embarrassed like I am. 6 of my keywords are related to my photo gallery and not the real content of the site. That is obviously going to make it harder for me to be found in a search for what I want to be found for. So I am going to do some keyword work over the next couple of weeks. I have come up with a list of 13 words I want to be keywords within two weeks. I will write more stories about these and I will create links at the footer menu as well. Then I will submit my sitemap to google and see what happens. The keywords I want to see at the top of the list are things such as, "marriage, keynote, speakers, Luke, Susie, Holt, baby, parenthood, motherhood, radio, extraordinary, SEO, google."
